Most of us go through life without much of a plan. We know where we’d like to be most of the time, but many of us have no clue how to get there. That’s why so many people seek out gurus. They want a Mr. Miyagi to teach them to wax on, wax off and direct them.

That’s dangerous, as I’ve noted before.

One individual who has positioned himself as a guru—in particular, on how to be a real man and how to get insanely wealthy—is named Andrew Tate. If you search that name, you’ll find all kinds of troubling accusations.

But I’m not going to get into that. I’m going to talk about a recent comment he made—and he’s not the first to make this claim—that has some serious potential for harm.
