ADHD people tend to feel emotions intensely. We don’t just have low-level happiness, we feel intense joy that we cannot describe, only for it to fade away soon enough.

At least, that last part is how it is with me.

Moreover, I don’t generally feel happiness without a good reason. It may not take much, but my default state is neither joy nor sorrow, neither happiness nor anger.

At least, it wasn’t until today.
