Today’s post isn’t ADHD related, but I want to remind folks that this isn’t an ADHD-centric Substack. That’s just one of many subjects I cover, though it’s one I’ve directed a lot of attention to. This is me trying to get back to the roots, so to speak.

I’m in the midst of a new project—I do that a lot, in case you didn’t know—and it’s one that will involve my face front and center.

My apologies in advance to those of you who tune in and have sensitive stomachs.

Anyway, part of my efforts with that project involved me practicing in front of a webcam. With my hair in its current state, it was kind of terrifying, so I put on one of my flat caps to record.

And, frankly, I liked it.

This got me thinking about the questions I’ve seen where people are trying to grab a signature piece of clothing so they could stand out a bit. Should they?
