Self-examination is harder than you think
With yesterday’s post, I touched on how I kind of blew it when I looked at the potential results of an experiment. I may have another mea culpa coming up in the near future—I just want to make sure the status quo holds firm before I do so.
I don’t like getting stuff wrong.
What I like less is saying X is so, only to realize a matter of days later that it’s not. Everyone gets stuff wrong, of course, and there’s no shame in admitting your mistakes, but I don’t like there being a pattern of mistakes. Ultimately, the more you get wrong, the harder it is to convince people you got it right.
The issue? Self-examination is harder than you think it would be.
