Adderall has been short for a few years now. It’s caused a lot of problems because, well, when you need ADHD medications, you need ADHD medications. There are no ifs, ands, or buts about it.

In fact, at least some of you came here in hopes of finding alternative treatments you could use until the shortage of the meds was alleviated.

And the problem has been, frankly, on the US government.

Drug companies can’t produce as much of a med like Adderall as they’d like because of its category. They need regulator approval to make more, and despite the shortage, regulators weren’t interested in addressing the problem.

Or so it seemed. There were also some other issues playing a problem, and now federal agencies are all but begging producers to start making more.
