Hard Things
Today, the CrossFit Games kicks off.
This is my second year watching them as a crossfitter, and it’s still a little weird to watch people compete for money in events that I do just for fun, but here we are.
In between events, there are several commercials for CrossFit—the Games is a great marketing tool for the corporate brand, after all—and in one of them, the person speaking mentioned how doing hard things like CrossFit in the gym can prepare you for doing hard things elsewhere.
And I kind of want to explore that a bit.
