Grace under pressure, but nowhere else
I’m surprisingly good under pressure. Give me an emergency and I’m as chill as they come.
For example, when my daughter was about to be born, I was anything but the frantic father. I simply took care of business, getting my wife to the hospital in time to deliver, and never felt overly stressed about it.
But trying to keep a cat from playing with the bedroom door this morning stressed me out until I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
That’s not overly shocking, though.
