I’m not sure if this is a semi-permanent thing, but something has changed for me.

Let me back up.

A while back, I wrote about what I called “interest hopping.” Basically, it was my hyperfocus jumping from one thing to another, all in an effort to seek out that dopamine fix.

It seems that part of that is because it’s easier to get that hit with some new interest or task, so my brain jumps on something and when it starts to take longer to earn that hit, it seeks something else.

It’s part of hyperfocus.

And, well, mine might finally be broken.
